Due to the Corona Virus outbreak and according to current health advice, the following events/performances have been cancelled.
What a fantastic night enjoyed by a record crowd of over 6000. It was so nice to share leading the carols with Onkaparinga City Concert Band once again this year.
In spite of the cold wind, performers sang and played enthusiastically.
November 30th, Wakefield House, Morphett Vale
We received many compliments and lots of positive feedback after our concert and we were very pleased to welcome Terry and Kathy Bickley, instrumentalists from Onkaparinga City Concert Band, as our special guests.
Our Music Director, Jeanette, was really happy with the choir's performance. First time and veteran soloists and acts contributed to our success. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this a night to remember.
July 1st, Wakefield House, Morphett Vale
It was a very cold night and unfortunately, this affected audience numbers. However, we were proud to showcase the skills of several choir members who performed solos and duets and entertaining skits. Feedback from the audience was positive and all who attended enjoyed the concert.
May 18th, Hopgood Theatre, Noarlunga
The Southern Singers were guest artists at this event and we were proud to be performing with the very skilled band to a full house. The audience was so enthusiastic and the choir thoroughly enjoyed the night.
May 5th, Oxenberry Farm Winery, McLaren Vale
What a wonderful, relaxing afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed by our choir, several soloists and an appreciative audience. Our talented accompanist, Nisan and Jeanette, our Music Director ensured an entertaining performance.
December 16th, South Adelaide Football Club
We managed to avoid the rain and the weather held for the whole evening. Lovely to lead the community carol singing at this annual event and we got to enjoy several solo and group carols by some skilled performers.
December 1st, Wakefield House, Morphett Vale
We presented a variety concert which included young Max and Grace Connolly, two talented budding classical guitarists from the Lincoln Brady Guitar Studio. This was also the final annual The Southern Singers concert for one of our veteran members (25 years), Reta Bradbury. A huge thank you to all those who contributed in any way to the success of this show.
October 28th, Trinity Lutheran Church, Pasadena
Our Music Director was pleased with our performance of 'All I Ask of You', 'Music of the Night' and 'Bring Him Home'. We loved singing these songs and we also enjoyed listening to the other choirs' performances."

Another successful performance enjoyed by choristers and audience. Looking forward to a two-week break before practice begins in term 3.

Our annual concert was played to a full house and we presented items in a variety of styles including songs from Africa which were accompanied by drums played by one of our newer members, Pete. Our guest artists were Christies Beach High School Vocal Ensemble whose performance showcased budding and established instrumental and vocal talent. Our Music Director, Jeanette commented after the concert that she thought this was our best one yet! October 29th, Trinity Lutheran Church, Pasadena
We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the excellent performances of the eight other choirs involved and received many positive comments on our items. Top marks to the South Australian chapter of ANCA's committee for producing this well-organised event.
June 26th, Wakefield House, Morphett Vale
Last night we performed our mid-year concert to a full house and appreciative audience who gave us many positive comments. Many choir members also did individual items which were also entertaining.
December 11th, South Adelaide Football Club
The Southern Singers performed two pieces: 'The Silver Stars Are in the Sky' and 'You Raise Me Up', then, together with the Onkaparinga City Concert Band led the community carol singing. The event was attended by a huge crowd which seems to increase every year and the weather was magic.
November 5th, Hopgood Theatre, Noarlunga
This was our last concert for the year and celebrated our 40th anniversary. Guest artists included the City of Onkaparinga Pipe Band and Dance Fusion. A special spot was given to OCCS Good Companions which is our travelling theatre group. "Send in the Clowns" and "Just the Way You Are" were new performance pieces for The Southern Singers who finished the night with two well-known songs: "Unchained Melody" and "Puttin' on the Ritz". This very special event concert played to a full house and special guests included Mayor Lorraine Rosenberg and our Patron, Ray Gilbert.

Our Scottish flavoured concert was well received by a very appreciative audience. Everyone worked hard to make the night a success.
June 8th, the Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga
Onkaparinga City Choral Society, Onkaparinga City Concert Band and City of Onkaparinga Pipe Band celebrated 40th anniversaries at the Arts Centre, Port Noarlunga, courtesy of Mayor Rosenberg, Onkaparinga Council. Everyone had a great night, sharing performances, history and a super supper.
May 29th, Seaford Ecumenical Mission
We were guest performers at the Mission's fundraising concert. The Southern Singers did two brackets; a Scottish selection and another of several well-known pieces. The programme included many skilled musicians and vocalists and the afternoon was enjoyed by all.
March 19th, Hopgood Theatre
The City of Onkaparinga Pipe Band's 40th-anniversary concert was a huge success and was enjoyed by a large appreciative audience. The Southern Singers were guest performers and each member found sharing the event with the pipe band, Onkaparinga City Concert Band and choir members from other groups an exhilarating experience.
